Key 2006 Election Races
Omaha, NE: When it comes to measuring public opinion across the state of Nebraska, no pollster is more accurate than The MSR Group. Results of three races monitored at various times prior to the November 7th election, mirrored the final voter turnout.

In addition to the above races, The MSR Group predicted that 39.5% of Nebraskans would vote FOR Initiative 421 which would amend the Nebraska county and city lottery act to authorize the use of video keno gaming devices. Final voter turnout in fact did reject the Initiative by 22 points with 39% For vs. 61% Against.
For the spending lid Initiative, a poll conducted on October 19th had 423 being defeated with only 28% of Nebraskans casting a vote FOR the issue. Final results have the Initiative going down in defeat with only 30% of Nebraskans casting a FOR vote.
