Cancellation Policy In the event of cancellation, moderator agrees to pay for all non-reimbursable expenses at time of cancellation. All transportation and lodging expense reimbursement will be the responsibility of the moderator. The MSR Group will place “holds” on all facility reservations which will provide moderator with a 24-hour first right of refusal on all facility bookings. Once the reservation is changed from “hold” status to “confirmed” status, moderator is responsible for the full cost of the facility, recruiting, and cancellation or postponement charges (if applicable) at the time of cancellation unless other arrangements can be negotiated. Cancellations or postponements due to weather beyond the control of either party will be negotiated on a market by market basis. The MSR Group will negotiate in the best interest of their client (the moderator), while trying to resolve all cancellation issues fairly for both parties. Regardless of the outcome, The MSR Group’s 20% commission on all estimated facility and recruiting expenses will apply. All cancelled or postponed projects count toward the moderator’s membership market quota. All payments are due within 30 days from invoice date. A finance charge will be incurred at the maximum rate allowed by applicable state law but not to exceed 1.5% per month or 18% per annum on all amounts not paid within 30 days from invoice date.
