Dick Worick, PRC  |  President and CEO

As President and CEO, Dick is responsible for the overall leadership and growth of the company. When Dick purchased the firm that is now known as The MSR Group in 1994, he’d already been successful using research in the retail and advertising industries to understand his customers. He wanted to put these tools in the hands of more organizations, regardless of their size, and find ways to make them better. Since then he has grown the company from one focused strictly on data collection into a full-service research organization providing consultative business insights for clients. His personal experience and strategic vision provide both the company and its clients with a clear perspective and inspired guidance. Dick is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is the recipient of numerous industry awards and honors.

Joel Vaslow, Ph.D.  |  Chief Operating Officer

Joel is involved in all aspects of The MSR Group’s operations, including client service, new business development, internal staff development and strategic long-term planning. His perspective helps identify opportunities for growth and process improvement that support our commitment to exceeding client needs. Joel has over 15 years’ experience in market research, customer experience consulting and the integration of consumer feedback and business metrics. He received both his doctorate and master’s degrees from Tulane University and a BA from Washington University in St. Louis. Joel has presented at numerous conferences and has co-authored articles in several organizational research publications.

Rob Noha  |  Senior Vice President

With nearly 20 years of experience in market research, Rob coordinates quantitative research for The MSR Group ensuring projects meet our strict criteria for statistical quality. Clients appreciate his eye for detail, as he works relentlessly to deliver results on time and on budget. Rob received a BA in political science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He also attended the American University in Washington, DC where he studied Campaign Management, specializing in Research Tactics.

Sara Martens  |  Vice President, Strategic Insights

Sara serves as a consultant for the company’s major consumer products and services companies, providing both qualitative and quantitative research consultation and marketing strategies. She also leads and manages The MSR Group’s efforts to build client relationships and develop new business opportunities for APECS®, our customer satisfaction measurement system. Sara has spent nearly 20 years in marketing and advertising and has worked extensively in branding and strategy development. Her unique perspective and ability to ask probing and clarifying questions come from her early days as a professional print journalist and a corporate communications editor. Sara earned a BA in journalism at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Julian Vermaas, PRC  |  Vice President, Account Services

With 20 years in the market research field, Julian serves as a research advisor and consultant. He provides clients with a depth of knowledge in customer satisfaction and loyalty measurement and is an expert in helping them to maximize the benefits of our APECS® Customer Satisfaction measurement system. A graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, he holds two bachelor’s degrees as well as advanced training in statistics, survey research and methodology.
